In practice, XSL-FO is a very new technology, and still not widely implemented in many applications. That means that in learning about XSL-FO right now, you may encounter errors or unsupported features which will come with time.

To use XSL-FO effectively, you will need to keep abreast of the many changes happening almost daily. The best way to do that is by consulting the various Web sites that are dedicated to XML technology.
