Can't View a JAR File Using the WinZip™ Program
If you are trying to click on a JAR file from within Windows explorer and it's not working, that's because the .jar extension has not been assocated with the WinZip program yet.
The way to fix this is to view your folder/file options under the menu on the Windows Explorer. Select the file types tab. Add a new extension for jar files and associate it the WinZip program. You must already have the WinZip application on your machine. If you don't, you can download it from the http://www.winzip.com Web site. If you already have a .jar file extension in the file types list, you just need to add an association to the WinZip application for the .jar extension.
