Site Link Bridges

Another object used in the process of Active Directory replication is the site link bridge object. Site link bridges are used when you have a network that is not fully routed and is representative of a set of site links.

To create a site link bridge, perform the following steps:

1.
Open Active Directory Sites and Services and expand the Inter-Site Transports container.
2.
Right-click the appropriate transport and click New Site Link Bridge. If you attempt to create a site link bridge and you do not have at least two site links of that transport type created, you will receive an error (see Figure 15.17).
