I'm Unable to Add a BDC to a Mixed Mode Domain

Q1:My domain is in mixed mode, but I am unable to add an NT BDC to the Active Directory domain.
You can add NT BDCs to the domain while the Active Directory domain is in mixed mode; however, doing so is not intuitive. Before you install the NT BDC, use the srvmgr.exe tool on the Windows 2000 domain controller to create the DC account for the new BDC. Be sure to add it as a Windows NT BDC when prompted. Then, when you are prompted to create a BDC during the NT installation, you will be able to join the domain. If you don't do this, you will get an error message stating that the computer account does not exist or is inaccessible.
