External Namespaces

The external DNS namespace is what your customers see from the Internet. This is the DNS domain you already own. In the example from Chapter 5, "DNS Architecture," when you looked up http://www.fullertoninfo.com, this was an external DNS namespace. This namespace is published in your external DNS servers, is available from the Web, and is used by external customers to resolve your Web and email servers.
