New BIND Configuration Files Are Not Being Used

Q1:When you update named.conf with new configuration files, the changes are not used.
UNIX is a case-sensitive operating system—everything about UNIX is case sensitive. Check the case of the references in named.conf and the filenames on the filesystem. Every character must match.

nslookup Doesn't Work Properly

Q1:ping and other tools might use your DNS, but when you start nslookup it fails or issues timeout errors.
Make sure you have a PTR record in the reverse lookup zone for the DNS server. When nslookup starts, it performs a reverse lookup on the DNS server. If this fails, it causes errors.
