Visualization

Another set of tools within Mechanical Desktop falls under the heading of visualization. This gives you the ability to render your 3D parts or a collection of parts, called assemblies, using a large library of materials and colors. In addition, you can add backgrounds of images or colors and produce a photographic image of your design.

These rendered pictures can be printed or exported to graphic-type presentation software such as Corel or PhotoShop to present to customers or marketing groups as an illustration of your concepts (see Figure 25.4).
