Synchronizing Database Links in the Drawing

To check the overall integrity of your links, you can run the Synchronize command. The Synchronize command ensures that the links you have in your drawing are connected to a valid table. Suppose, for example, that the database file you were linked to has been accidentally moved. You can use the Synchronize command to determine whether the link you created is still valid.

This is activated from the dbConnect Manager window. Right-click on a link template from the list and select Synchronize. AutoCAD runs a check to verify the link. If no link errors are detected, AutoCAD displays a message box indicating that the drawing and external databases are in a consistent state.
