Inserting Hyperlinks into Drawing Files

Hyperlinks can be inserted into drawing files to link to other associated files, such as other drawing files, Windows documents (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and so on), and URLs. This provides an efficient way of integrating all the documents related to a project into your AutoCAD drawings. These documents can come from a local or network drive as well as an Internet site.

Begin by opening the Insert Hyperlink dialog box. Using the pull-down menus, choose Insert, Hyperlink, which opens the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.
