Viewports

Viewports enable you to divide the viewing area into multiple screens, in which each screen can display the current view or be assigned a saved view. This makes it possible for you to interact with the whole drawing rather than one specific portion.

→ Two different types of viewports are available within AutoCAD: tiled and floating. This chapter deals specifically with tiled viewports.
