Modifying Object Properties

When you need to quickly modify the properties of an object, use this new AutoCAD Properties feature. In previous releases of AutoCAD, you either were limited or had to use multiple commands to change specific object properties. In AutoCAD 2000, you can select a single object and modify all the properties of that object, or you can select multiple objects to modify the common properties of those objects.

The fastest way to access the properties of an object or objects is to use the Properties command in conjunction with grips. Place a grip on a single object, right-click, and select Properties from the menu (see Figure 10.10).
