Before you go on to more of the editing commands, let's look at a faster way to edit drawing objects. The process for using the Move command discussed previously was that the command was chosen first and then the objects to be modified were selected. This process is called verb/noun selection, where the command is selected before the objects. You can also reverse this process and work in a noun/verb mode, where the objects are selected first and then the command is chosen. This functionality is actually controlled by a system variable called Pickfirst. When this variable is on, or set to 1, objects can be selected before choosing a command.
