Working with Rectangles

Rectangles are also created with the Polyline command. The Rectangle command was designed to speed the creation of four-sided objects rather than having to draw each side of the rectangle with the Line or Polyline command.

To start the Rectangle command, select the Rectangle button from the Draw toolbar. You can also select it from the Draw pull-dowm menu.

You can key in Rectang at the command line to activate the Rectangle command.

You will see the following prompts:

Command: rectang
Current rectangle modes:  Elevation=2.0000 Fillet=0.5000 Width=0.2500
Specify first corner point or [Chamfer/Elevation/Fillet/Thickness/Width]:
