Working with Construction Lines

On some occasions, construction lines are needed to visually demonstrate relationships within the drawing. Although the Object Tracking feature works similarly to having a temporary construction line, you may need an actual drawing object when setting up a drawing to represent an association between two or more drawing elements (for example, laying out the top, front, and side views of a mechanical drawing). AutoCAD has two line elements, Xlines and rays, specifically for this purpose.
