Summary

There are numerous drafting settings that can be set within a drawing. Using templates, you can eliminate much of the time needed to create a new drawing. Once the drawing is set up, you can save time using the various line coordinate input formats and object snaps to quickly lay out a drawing. You were also introduced to the Real time Zoom and Pan functions to view the drawing from different magnification factors while drawing. In the next chapter, you'll learn about creating layers and loading linetypes for a drawing to complete the drawing setup.
