Inserting Your Own Movie File

You can insert your own movie file into a PowerPoint presentation as well. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Choose Insert, Movies and Sound, Movie from File. The Insert Movie dialog box displays, as shown in Figure 13.18. Movie Files displays in the Files of Type field by default.

2. Navigate to the movie file you want to insert, select it, and click OK.

3. A dialog box asks if you want the movie to play automatically when you display the slide. Click Yes if you want to do this. Otherwise, you need to click the movie file to play it.
