NoteRef
The NOTEREF field inserts a reference to a bookmarked footnote or endnote. With NOTEREF, you can refer to a footnote elsewhere in the document, and your reference remains accurate even if you add or remove footnotes or endnotes.

Switches
Switch | What It Does |
---|---|
\f | Inserts reference mark with same character formatting as footnote reference mark or endnote reference mark. |
\h | Creates a hyperlink to the footnote marked with the bookmark. |
\p | Inserts the relative (above or below) position of the footnote. |
