Understanding Projects and Modules

As you have seen throughout this chapter, VBA macros are stored in procedures. Procedures are stored in modules, and modules are stored in projects. The best way to understand this organization is to work your way down from the project level.

Each Word template or document contains exactly one project. When you are running the VBE, you can see the project for each open document or template in the Project Explorer, as shown in Figure 32.10.
