Using the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar

The Office Shortcut Bar (see Figure 29.46) is one of the true workhorses of Office 2000. The Office Shortcut Bar is a completely customizable toolbar that enables you open the following items:

  • A wide range of types of documents, from Word templates to Outlook messages

  • Any folder or application on your desktop, or in any frequently accessed location

  • Any Office 2000 application

  • Any application at all
