Controlling Word's Customization Options

Word 2000 offers several options for controlling how it can be customized. One set of options enables you to control how Word's new Personalized Menus and Toolbars behave. The remaining options cover a variety of behaviors that might make Word just a bit more convenient for you to use. To set these options, choose Tools, Customize, and click the Options tab.

Many of the customization choices available through the Options dialog box are stored in the Windows Registry.
