Administering Office Server Extensions

The selections you made during OSE installation are probably sufficient to begin Web discussions right away. Several administration tools were installed with OSE. Before beginning Web discussions, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with these simple administrative tools and at the same time make sure the Web server settings are correct.

Viewing and Searching for Files and Folders on the Web Server

The file contents of your Web server and search for files and folders can be accessed from a basic administration page placed under the IIS Web root. Using a Web browser, the address for opening this page is

							http://localhost/MSOffice/

Default.asp opens, as shown in Figure 13.10.
