Web Publishing in Word 2000

As mentioned earlier, building a Web page is no different than working on a regular Word document. There are, however, some special considerations you need to keep in mind when you're building Web pages that generally aren't important when you're dealing with .doc files. These include

  • Browser compatibility

  • Network bandwidth

  • Streaming media

  • Building hyperlinks

  • Inserting horizontal lines

  • Scrolling text

  • Frames

  • The Web palette

  • The importance of a Web page title
