Project: Building a Basic Web Page
Your boss has just asked you to put up a Web page linking the various company benefits plans available to employees. Don't panic. With Word 2000, you can quickly build a page like the pros. You don't have to learn a new application or new terminology. To build this basic Web page, follow the steps as outlined.
Step #1: Open a blank page and format it with a table.
Open a blank page.
Choose Format, Background, and click Fill Effects at the bottom. Click the Textures tab and choose the Parchment texture. Click OK to place a background texture on the page.
