Project: Using Font and Paragraph Formatting to Create a One-Page Flier

Ever have to knock out a one-page flier—quick? Whether you're in corporate America or the local PTA, you probably have—and Word's font and paragraph formatting tools are perfect for the task. In this project, you'll walk through building a quick flier using basic font and paragraph formatting—and you also get to preview a few cool techniques you'll learn later!

Step #1: Write your flier.

Step #2: Switch to Print Layout view if you're not there already.

It's easier to see how your page will look, and you need to be in Print Layout view to use some of Word's graphics tools.
