Appendix B. Field Reference

This field reference describes each of Word's more than 70 fields, explaining usage and showing examples. Whenever a field is discussed in more detail elsewhere in the book, there is a reference to let you know. Whenever a field can be more easily inserted via a specialized menu choice, you're told where to look for an explanation.

Caution

If you are creating a field that refers to a block of text or a long filename that contains spaces, place quotation marks around the text or filename, as in the following example:
