Using Drag and Drop to Move or Copy Information Within an Application's Documents

A second method for moving information is to use the mouse to drag and drop selected pieces of information, which can be text, graphics, or data, from one location to another. When you drag and drop information, you are moving or copying it directly from one location to another, without using the Clipboard as a go-between.
