Maintaining Laptop and Desktop Files with Briefcase

Many users of portable PCs also use a desktop system and often need to juggle files between the two systems. You might, for example, have a set of reports you are preparing with your desktop system and you need to move those files to your portable to work on them while you are out of town. Windows 95 includes a Briefcase feature that simplifies the task of synchronizing the files on your desktop and portable PCs, helping you keep track of which copy of the file(s) is most current.

The following is a simplified example of how you might use the Briefcase:
