Using Your Laptop with a Docking System

With Windows 95, hot-docking support integrates hardware and software for quick and easy docking. Docking and undocking can occur when the power is on or off. Windows 95 automatically detects any configuration changes and manages any conflicts or file disruptions. Windows 95 also loads and unloads hardware drivers as required. To undock your PC when Windows 95 is running, open the Start menu and choose Eject PC. Windows 95 reconfigures the system automatically for the undocked configuration and then prompts you to remove the PC from the docking station.
