Printing from a Docking Station

Every time you start Windows, it performs an inventory check of all attached hardware. Windows also provides a choice of configurations during startup, if there is more than one configuration. You must choose one of the selections from this list.

You can configure Windows to work offline when the PC is undocked and online when the PC is docked. You can set the system configurations for the printer port to be configured only when the laptop is attached to the docking station. You also can configure the port to be automatically unavailable when the system is being used as a laptop.
