Creating Access Expressions

Chapter 5, "Entering, Editing, and Validating Data in Tables," uses several functions to validate data entry for most fields in the Personnel Actions table. Chapter 8, "Using Query by Example," uses an expression to select the states to be included in a mailing list query. These examples provide the foundation on which to build more complex expressions that can define more precisely the validation rules and query criteria for real-life database applications.
