Access 97 is a member of the Microsoft Office 97 Professional software suite that consists of second-generation, 32-bit versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Binder, plus the first iteration of Microsoft Outlook. Most users acquire Access 97 by upgrading from Office 4.x or Office 95, or through purchase of Office 97 Professional licenses. The Office 97 Professional CD-ROM includes the Office 97 ValuPack, a collection of supplemental files for each Office member.
