The presence you’ve worked on developing in The Voice will be invaluable here. Feeling that you’re in that ‘character’ will allow you to relax and speak more comfortably, and this section will give you a script around which you may work. Some of the techniques will at times feel like you’re working hard against yourself, to ‘stop’ doing certain things and focus on doing others that might seem abnormal. As much as you can, focus on letting yourself, rather than making yourself. Once you’ve experienced the effects of many of these techniques, you’ll find yourself using them more often, and as you build a repertoire of experience, it will start to feel like a habit.
