Sustaining your momentum
Teaching is a remarkable thing, it’s one of the few interactions between humans that is greater than win-win. Great teaching inspires curiosity, and continues to develop both teacher and student after they’ve parted ways. It’s remarkable how teaching a skill will often help you understand it and master it more fully. My challenge to you is this: when you find a moment where a friend or co-worker complains of lacking confidence, of being misheard or not being heard at all, take a moment and teach them some of the skills you’ve learned here. Take this as an open invitation to do this with every skill you know, throughout your entire life. Always be teaching and learning.
