Anatomy of a Video System

WHAT IS A VIDEO PLAYBACK SYSTEM?

A video playback system is any number of devices that are brought together and displayed on a screen for the masses. This can be as simple as a computer-based system and a projector or as complicated as multiple cameras, multiple video decks, and multiple computers all running through a switching device out to an array of plasmas, LCDs, projectors, and recording devices. Ultimately, the one thing they all have in common is the final result – an image that is viewed by the masses.
