The biggest downside of a recession is losing your job. If redundancies look likely where you work make sure that your job is in the indispensable category.
There are three areas you need to consider when you are making your plan to avoid being caught up in the redundancy list – strategic importance of your job, return on the organisation’s investment in you and your team and whether or not you’re in the part of the business that’s still making money.
