Magnetic Resonances

12.1 INTRODUCTION

Magnetic resonance covers the following topics: (1) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), (2) electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), (3) ferromagnetic resonance (FMR), (4) nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR), (5) spin wave resonance in ferromagnetic films, (6) antiferromagnetic resonance, (7) ferrimagnetic resonance, and (8) conduction electron spin resonance (CESR). The first four topics will be discussed here as they find greater applications in different branches of science.
