Conclusion
By breaking down the mail process into individual tasks, we've seen how it functions and how the mail protocols interact with each other. We've also seen how we can use a combination of protocols to allow mail to be delivered and received in different ways.
We've also managed to build a very simple mail system, which (although it's not what we would call a production system) has allowed us to learn the steps needed to get things working.
