runacct — Run Daily Accounting
Synopsis
/usr/lib/acct/runacct [mmdd [state]]
Description
 | The runacct command is the main daily accounting command. It is normally initiated by cron. runacct processes connect, fee, disk, and process accounting files and stores the results in /var/adm/pacctn, /var/adm/wtmpx (changed from wtmp in the Solaris 8 release), /var/adm/fee, and /var/adm/acct/nite/disktacct. It also prepares summary files for prdaily or billing purposes. runacct is distributed only to source code licensees. |
