lpsched — Start the LP Print Service

Synopsis

/usr/lib/lp/lpsched [-f num-filters][-n num-notifiers][-p fd-limit]
  [-r reserved-fds]

Description

Each print server must have only one LP scheduler, lpsched, running. The scheduler is started by the /etc/rc2.d/S80lp run control script when a system is booted or enters run level 2.You can stop the scheduler by running the lpshut(1M) command and restart the scheduler with the lpsched command. Printers that are restarted using lpsched reprint in their entirety print requests that were stopped by lpshut. See lpshut(1M).
