Description

Use the fmthard command to update the VTOC (Volume Table of Contents) on hard disks and, on IA systems, to add boot information to the Solaris fdisk partition. You must specify one or more of the options -s datafile, -d data, or -n volume-name to request modifications to the disk label. To print disk label content, see prtvtoc(1M).
