Synopsis

/usr/sbin/crash [-d dumpfile][-n namelist][-w output-file]

Description

Use the crash command to examine the system memory image of a running or a crashed system by formatting and printing control structures, tables, and other information.

Notes

The crash command may not be present in versions after the Solaris 8 release. The functionality of the crash command for examining system crash dumps is superseded by the new mdb(1) command.
