bdconfig — Configure the Buttons and Dials Stream
Synopsis
/usr/sbin/bdconfig [startup][off][on][term][status][verbose]
Description
Use the bdconfig command to configure the autopush facility and define to the system what serial device to use for the buttons and dials (bd) stream.
bdconfig just configures the AUTOPUSH facility. It does not actually manipulate the serial port or stream in any way. Only the first open of a dismantled stream sees the effects of a previously run bdconfig.
Options
If you specify no options, then an interactive mode is assumed. In this mode, the current status is presented along with the usage line, as shown below, and a series of interactive questions is asked.
