Part 2: NIS+
This part introduces the NIS+ (Network Information Service Plus) nameservice environment. Chapter 5 provides an overview of NIS+, explains how NIS+ differs from the NIS nameservice, and introduces the NIS+ commands. Chapter 6 describes how to use the NIS+ commands to set up an NIS+ root master server and to add a system as an NIS+ client.
