unix2dos — Convert Text File from ISO Format to DOS Format

Synopsis

/usr/bin/unix2dos [-ascii][-iso][-7] originalfile convertedfile
					

Description

unix2dos converts ISO standard characters to the corresponding characters in the DOS extended character set.

You can invoke this command from either DOS or SunOS. However, the file names must conform to the conventions of the environment in which you invoke the command.

If the original file and the converted file are the same, unix2dos rewrites the original file after converting it.

Options

-ascii Add Returns and convert end-of-file characters in SunOS format text files to conform to DOS requirements.
-iso Convert ISO standard characters to the corresponding character in the DOS extended character ...
