Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

A document that defines what is permitted and what is forbidden on a computer network or at a computing facility. Usually specifies the acceptable use of computer and network resources by internal users and/or clients. Sometimes the Acceptable Use Policy is a part of the site’s or organization’s security policy.
