Planning Kerberos Deployment

After reading through the case studies, you should now have a clear idea of whether your particular organization or site needs Kerberos. If the answer is yes, you have to decide on your Kerberos deployment strategy and draw up a to-do list. Here is an example you can use to get started:

  1. Have Kerberos software installed on all systems that will use Kerberos. Make sure you are using the same version on all systems.Version 5 is recommended.
