Troubleshooting Kerberos
Provided that you have installed and configured Kerberos correctly, it should work without much troubleshooting. However, in case you have problems with Kerberos, the following sections contain some troubleshooting tips. Initial ticket response appears to be Version 4 error
This error message means that you (the Kerberos client) are trying to communicate with a Kerberos Version 4 server. Although Kerberos 5 servers can communicate with Kerberos 4 clients, the reverse is not true.
