Trusted Paths

Trusted path is a security concept that guarantees the user of a computer system that he or she is indeed interacting with a trusted and authorized application and not a Trojan horse. Visual indication in the form of a stripe at the bottom of the screen is used to keep the user informed of the current label and other security attributes. Trusted path functionality is built into the Trusted Common Desktop Environment.
