Explain virtual memory concepts and, given a scenario, configure and manage swap space.

Image   The Solaris operating environment can use disk space, called swap areas or swap space, for temporary memory storage when a system does not have enough physical memory to handle currently running processes. A system’s memory requirements change, and you must be knowledgeable in swap space management in order to monitor these resources and make ongoing adjustments, as needed.
