I was so pleased when I heard that Jon was writing a book about embedded software testing. First, Jon is a great teacher. I learn new ideas and techniques every time I participate in one of his workshops. Second, I know next to nothing about testing embedded software, and as Jon points out in his introduction, this is no longer an area we can avoid. Products that run only in a web browser or on a desktop are increasingly rare. And so I find myself working on a team whose product must work well on mobile devices.
